Bénédictine Discovery

Le Palais Bénédictine, an architectural masterpiece of gothic and Renaissance inspirations, was erected at the end of the 19th century in honour of the Bénédictine liqueur by Alexandre Le Grand, a wine merchant from Fécamp, who had found a recipe created in 1510 by a Bénédictine monk in a grimoire.
Visitors will first explore the museum collections. The guided tour then leads to the one and only Bénédictine distillery in the world, with its hammered copper stills, and to the cellars. This Experience is the opportunity to learn more about the art of distillation and reveals some secrets of the Bénédictine liqueur.
